The separation of cannabis species into Indica, Sativa or Ruderalis corresponds to the difference in psilocybin-producing fungi. For example, azurescens with its blue-stain coloring is found on some strains while semilanceata looks almost identical but produces brown spores instead; cubensis is yet another type that differs by coloration from either one.
